TDI Advanced Wreck Instructor
During the TDI Advanced Wreck Instructor Course, the instructor candidate will master techniques of instilling comfort, confidence and discipline in the advanced wreck student as well as equipment configuration, penetration skills, line techniques, research techniques and sharpening decompression skills, hazards of wreck diving and propulsion techniques
Prerequisites: Advanced Nitrox instructor, Deco Procedures Diver, Advanced wreck diver, 200 logged dives with 50 logged as, wreck dives and 25 wreck penetration dives

TDI Cavern Instructor
As the first in a series of overhead courses, the TDI Cavern Diving Instructor Evaluation Course takes a serious look at the professionalism and skills of the candidates. Instructor candidates are evaluated for their level of knowledge and proficiency in presenting a TDI Cavern course as well as their proficiency in demonstrating land and water skills. While keeping a close eye on the overall attitude towards safety, the evaluator also considers the candidate’s ability to develop skilled, efficient and well educated divers that are aware of the environmental impact that divers may have in cavern systems.
Prerequisites:
TDI Nitrox Instructor and Full Cave diver with 100 cave dives having assisted with at least 2 cavern courses

TDI Intro to Cave Instructor
The TDI Introduction to Cave Diving Instructor Evaluation, the candidate will demonstrate the ability to educate overhead students in cave etiquette, communications and cave diving skills in an academic setting. Moving on, the candidate will demonstrate their proficiency in teaching in-water skills such as buoyancy control, S-drills, emergency procedures and lost diver drills, line navigation, zero visibility training, gas management, touch contact training, emergency procedures.
Prerequisites:
Intro Instructor candidates will have taught a minimum three separate cavern courses, assisted at least three Intro to Cave courses and recommended by a TDI Full Cave Instructor.

TDI Full Cave Instructor
The TDI Cave Diving Instructor rating is an outstanding accomplishment few can claim will demonstrate many of the Intro skills as well as now adding academic subjects such as gas matching procedures for example. Additional in-water skills include air sharing through restrictions, lights out drills and traverses, gaps and circuits.. Skills in the Full Cave instructor course include but are not limited to; restriction training, complex navigation, zero visibility training, emergency procedures, gas management and refinement of earlier learned skills.
Prerequisites: Full Cave instructor candidates will have taught a minimum of  three separate Intro to Cave Diving courses as well as having assisted at least five Full Cave Diver courses and having been recommended by a TDI Full Cave Instructor.

TDI Sidemount Cave Instructor
The Sidemount Cave Diver training course further develops the skills and knowledge required for diving within the overhead environment utilizing a side mounted cylinder configuration. The diver will be trained to utilize side mounted cylinder configurations in order to remove and replace cylinders to pass a restriction that could not otherwise be passed utilizing conventional twin cylinders in an underwater overhead environment.
Prerequisites: TDI Full Cave Instructor, TDI Sidemount Instructor, Sidemount cave diver

TDI Stage Cave Instructor
The TDI Stage Cave instructor training course helps develop the skills necessary to teach the utilization of stage cylinders in a cave or overhead environment. Skills include but are not limited to management of multiple stage cylinders in both visibility and zero visibility situations while maintaining contact with a guideline utilizing anti-entanglement techniques, gas management for extended penetrations, decompression management, emergency procedures, buoyancy, trim and propulsion while utilizing multiple stages all while focusing on streamline positioning and management of the additional cylinders.
Prerequisites: TDI Full Cave Instructor, Advanced Nitrox Instructor, Stage Cave and Decompression Procedures Diver

TDI Technical Cave Instructor
The Technical Cave Diver Training course further develops the skills and knowledge required for decompression diving within the overhead environment. The course explains the dangers and risks involved while decompression diving in the overhead environment and penetrating beyond the daylight zone. Skills in this course include but are not limited to; decompression planning and gas management, emergency procedures involving loss of gas, lost or failure of decompression information, emergency management, team awareness, and a high level of previous learned skills.
Prerequisites:
TDI Full Cave Instructor, TDI Trimix Instructor, Technical Cave Diver, 25 stage decompression dives in a cave environment.

TDI Cave Exploration and Survey Instructor
The Underwater Cave Surveying course is designed to give the trained cave diving instructor the knowledge and basic fundamentals of how to teach divers in the proper surveying techniques in an underwater cave environment. The intention of this program is for cave surveying instructors to encourage a standardization of cave surveying on all projects; encourage the use of cave maps in dive planning while increasing the diver’s awareness and knowledge of the surroundings in this environment. This course includes procedures utilizing ropes with various pulley or ascending systems, emergency evacuation procedures, GPS navigation, compass and line navigation, exploration techniques, advanced line laying, mapping and cartography, surveying techniques and advanced gas management. This course is a skill intensive course and includes 2/3 days of dry land training.
Prerequisites: TDI Full Cave Instructor, Advanced Nitrox Instructor, Cave Surveying diver, (Sidemount and Stage cave diver levels are recommended)

TDI CCR Cave Instructor
Far and above, the TDI Rebreather Full Cave Diver Instructor rating is an outstanding accomplishment few can claim. Arriving at the Rebreather Cave Diver Instructor Evaluation, The evaluation will include a thorough examination of the candidate’s abilities to communicate and teach rebreather cave diving techniques, as well as evaluate the candidates own skills as a rebreather cave diver. The candidate will conduct a minimum of six dives with the evaluator: two dives at the cavern level, two dives at the introductory cave level, and two dives at the full cave level. The candidate will be required to perform all skills from the rebreather cave diving programs at a demonstration quality level.
Prerequisites: TDI Full Cave Instructor, assisted a minimum of two Rebreather Cavern courses, two Rebreather Introductory Cave Diver courses, and two Rebreather Full Cave courses. The candidate must provide their TDI Rebreather Cave Instructor Evaluator with a letter of recommendation from a Rebreather Full Cave Instructor they have assisted (this must be an instructor other than who is conducting the evaluation).
